Vienna - Day 2

Day 2 in Vienna looked a little bit like this:

Sunday we set out for the Palaces.
Schonbrunn Palace and The Belvedere.

Schonbrunn.

It was pretty amazing! For 16 euro you can tour 40 rooms inside the Palace, but it was just too beautiful of a day that we focused on the outside.

You walk up and you see this, and it is truly incredible. But then you go exploring and walk around to the back. And BAM!

It was just breathtaking!

This was all behind the Palace! I told Blake we need to hire their yard keeper! ;)

We climbed up the steep hill to The Gloriette that sits at the top of the Palace gardens. In the garden's there is a maze AND the Vienna Zoo.

Half way!

Amazing views!

The Gloriette up close!

We got an ice cream, a water, and then made our way to the top of it!

The sides of The Gloriette.

After we finished exploring the Palace grounds we headed to Stadt park to rent bikes and ride to The Belvedere. The Belvedere features two baroque style palaces.

If you only have time to check out one in Vienna, I definitely recommend Schonbrunn.

We grabbed a quick bite, and headed to the airport.

And we finally got our chocolate tarte. :)
